    Books of the New Testament include the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, as well as the account of the early Church in the Book of Acts. The remainder of the New Testament consists of letters from apostles such as Paul, and closes with the Book of Revelation. From the way you've worded your question, I gather (and appreciate) that you know that no one knows for sure. That's the main thing. Still, these are questions we'd love to have answered! And there has been no shortage of energy expended on trying.
